Deleting your QRZCQ listing

Postby VK4GHZ » Fri Jan 04, 2019 3:47 pm

QRZCQ is probably one of the most pointless ham websites to have ever popped up.

I recently requested my incomplete (because data was skimmed from elsewhere) account to be deleted.
I have observed many QRZCQ listings that contain obsolete or inaccurate information - so what's the point?

Go here: and then click on the "click here" link which brings you to this page:

Select "Data deletion" as the Help topic, and enter your details.
The deletion was completed in four days over the new year.

One less stupid thing (that I never initially asked for in the first place) that points to your callsign that would require updating.

Check your own listing, and any previous calls you have held.
Are you part of the "inaccurate data" problem?

Yeah well we all post and chat and spot and do webs.
whats on the internet stays out there in the public domain.
stay off the keyboard Stephen as ken akk used to warn me.
you are all out there because you put yourself out there or someone else did.

If you are not part of the solution,
then you are part of the problem!
No problems?
Not a problem then!
Tread your own path :om:
