It is an embedded you tube video.

Youtube embeds work just fine with Firefox, Google Chrome, and MS Edge browsers.

Let me guess... you're using MS Internet Explorer.

Hell no, I haven't used IE in about 15 years.

I'm on Chrome, Version 70.0.3538.77 (Official Build) (64-bit).

The embed it working on Chrome here - it's where I grabbed the URL from.

Youtube embeds work fine with my IE11 on other forums I'm a member of.

In fact I can't recall any (apart from here) that haven't worked.

Different forum software I guess.

So the "future for amateur radio in VK" is premised on the fact that YouTube does not work for some.

First World problem...... :|

Yep, the future is grim.

Yes indeed. However, the problem is actually a security feature of the latest Chrome browser that blocks unauthenticated scripts from 3rd parties from running. Strange given that Youtube and Chrome are both owned by Google, you'd think that doesn't count as a 3rd party, but either way.

A small alert appears in the URL bar, if I click yes to "run unauthenticated/unsafe scripts" then the embeds appear no problem.

I hope this is of some use to those of us that live life on the bleeding edge with up to date software. Stuff does break from time to time. It's the nature of the internet and not really any particular persons fault.
